Is your toaster broken? Maybe you could use the heat from this edit preview to make toast? It’s crazy how stoked I am over this 15 second video by Cody Becker.
After a quick chat with Cody, I just can’t wait to see the finished edit, which should hopefully be dropping in the following months. Worth watching this one til the end.. Nice one dude!
Matt Macduff sure knows how to smash an MTB around the streets of Barcelona. I can’t say I expected anything less from Matt.. remember “The Ten Commandments”, and “For The Kids”?
This one is full of big, fast gaps.. I won’t ruin the ending for you, but I was blown away by the second to last clip, and then again by the last.
Go to The-Rise for more by Matt MacDuff.
On my way home from a long day riding, I stopped off at this spot to see if I could get Fakie Manuals down. With the recent announcement of the return of VVC-Force, I wanted to try something influenced by them. The fact of running a freecoaster didn’t make this an easy learn by any means.
The Guys at VVC Force have released this intro video, announcing that they are making a comeback. (Watch full video here). Continue reading
The first time I saw a gnarly slider in MTB was when Pavel ‘Vishneviy’ Alekhin did one in the 2009 VVC force video, and then saw them return at the beginning of VVC Force 2010 by Pavel Vabischevich.
It’s one of them tricks where it takes a lot of patience to find that fine balancing points, and i’ve just managed to get fakie sliders to a point where I can keep the slide locked in for a good distance.
It also shreds front tyres, but thats a price that I’m willing to pay.
Summer is on its way and its almost trails season. I love this time of year. It’s when everything starts to look alive again, and the thought of those warm long evenings that can be spent with friends and beer at the trails is getting closer.
This video is of mine and Dans trails from 2013, the trails have since changed to just one bigger line down the middle, and Dan has really been grafting to get these running for 2015.
Walter “CatKid” Mayerhofer has just dropped his welcome to Pride-Street Bikes edit, after joining the Pride-Street team in September last year.
Catkid, also a part of Canadian team The-Rise, puts out a good mix of riding, from that technical manny 180 to fakie bar half cab, to that big flat out stair gap. I’m a huge fan of seeing more and more Street riders making good use of their freecoasters.
Nice one dude.
Millhouses Skatepark in Sheffield is pretty much jib capital. I can spend hours just playing on this bank , making slight variation changes, use the sub box, use the hip, the list goes on. I’ve even seen people gap out of the park both ways. Infact I was watching from the sidelines as Chaz Mailey crashed trying to gap over the railings from this bank whilst filming for RideUKBMX’s “Ride To Glory 2010.” If you look closely, I’m in that video wearing a bright blue hoodie. My real fifteen seconds of fame.
Ride to glory 2010. I’m sat at the top of the bank in the blue hoodie.
Matt Jamieson has just dropped this video which is a mix of the best and worst of his previous edits from 2007-2014. Matt is probably one of the original modern StreetMTB riders with no brakes, a rigid fork and a style that would even be at home on a BMX. Continue reading
If you didn’t already know, the legendary post office trails have been flattened today. It’s sad to think that something that has played a huge part in a community for so long can be gone in a matter of hours. I really feel for the people that are a part of the Aptos scene, and hope they find a new spot soon.
Although I’m mainly a street guy, I started off riding trails. Back in the day, I used to buzz off this video. Cam McCaul kills it.
