Broken, that’s exactly what I now am. In October 2016, unknowingly to myself at the time, I had a rather unspectacular yet catastrophic crash on my bike that has prevented me riding my bike properly ever since. Continue reading
One of the top ten events of the year: Bolehill “Helltrack”, went down on 17th June at Sheffield’s finest BMX track. Stuff got pretty gnarly.
I’ve been away for a while with injury, but what better way to get back on my bike after 9 months than with plenty of shredding, high jump, best trick and back straight trains.
Some heavy beats by DJ Joe Camus and Jacob Apanasionok got me throwing rocks, two stepping, and generally throwing some mad shapes both on and off the bike.
Hats off to Dave Camus and everybody else involved with organising the event and prepping the track for the day.
If theres something I’m good at, it’s being nostalgic. PSBMX have provided me with my fix of summer nostalgia and have made me so psyched for the 2016 riding season Continue reading
Autumn really hit hard here, and Marius isn’t making it any easier for me to cope with the fact that trails season is drawing to an end, because now I just want to go ride.
Dare I say that Serj Matt is probably one of the most progressive street MTB riders i’ve ever seen. Look at his bike for a start, four pegs, rigid, brakeless.. right up my street (excuse the pun). Continue reading
Safe to say that Marius Hoppensack knows a thing or two about taking care of business at the trails. In the Marius Hoppensack Soap series, he sheds light on some of the problems he has to overcome as a rider. Continue reading
#TheUnknown. It’s called this because Lukas Grauel has no backing behind him, and has dropped this edit on the basis that he and his friend Lars Schellenberg just really love riding and filming together. What better reason!? Continue reading
I went to onboard skatepark in Sheffield tonight, just because I’ve not been able to find time to ride my bike recently. Stoked to have got the second clip on film despite the fakie hops.. I’ll try and get rid of them.
Was pretty buzzing to finally get this freecoaster line down, fakie sliders are always fun and I’ve always found inspiration to smash them out since watching the guys at VVC Force. I’ve been nibbling at this for a while now but was pushing closer and closer last night until I finally managed to get all the way to the mark I set at the bottom. I don’t really get much time to try for lines and stuff anymore, but this is an old one that I was starting to think I’d never get.. I’ll take that.
